Things to be Thankful For 2 [post #99]
Saturday, November 22, 2008 / 8:36:00 PM
1. Internet. Everything a student needs is in the internet.
2. My cellphone. Even if it's been a long time since I saw Eph, I can still communicate with him because of cellphones!
3. My Pol 1N exam was not that hard! I really thought that our exam was going to be an essay type of exam (or definition of terms) but lo and behold, it was not! I found the exam easy. But I know I have a mistake. Demos does not mean "best", OK? Demos means "people". ARGH!
4. We now have our Fil 1A professor! For five meetings, we were doing nothing in Fil 1A because we still have no professor due to conflicts of schedule. Thank God it's now OK!
5. I answered all the questions my classmate asked me during my Econ 1N reporting. =) And my professor did not ask me anything which means she was satisfied with my report!
6. I got to talk to my crush.
Hahaha. I even gave him a paper and shared my book.
Wahehehehe. Eph knows this, don't worry. =)
7. Our Chem 1 lab exam was moved to Friday next week!
8. I got to meet one of my friends yesterday.
9. I had lots of sleep today. =P
10. I'm already finished with my home works.
11.
Ginny Branch's blog really inspires me to write. In fact, she inspired me to start writing my own gratitude list! =)

Things to be Thankful For [post #98]
Tuesday, November 18, 2008 / 8:03:00 PM

1. We won in our group dynamics activity this morning!
2. So many people were saved during the C3 concert last Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! Around 2000+! Thank God!
3. Somebody left. But that somebody came back. =')
4. Pol 1N exam was moved from Monday (yesterday) to Thursday!
5. I had a perfect exam in C1A1Y!
6. I had P10.00 free load!
7. I've gotten over the CUTE and YUCK exam of Sir Johnny. Hahaha!
8. My friends in Friendster are back! =P
9. Sir Zamora "praised" me after reciting the same words that he said just a few moments ago.
10. I got to sleep this afternoon and I'm now energized to study.
There are so many things to be thankful for. Even if sometimes, we think that these are just small things, sometimes, these are the things that make our lives happier.
Kaya ako, I choose to be happy. =) I choose to dwell on the small things and not the big things. After all, without the small things, there will be no big things, right? Hahaha. It's all in the mind.

I read in Yahoo! today that one of the jobs of the happiest people in America is being a SPED teacher.
5. Special education teachers
Job Description: Teach school subjects to educationally and physically handicapped students.
Very happy: 52.6%
Median salary (preschool, kindergarten or elementary school): $41,344
Median salary (secondary school): $43,060
When I decided to take up BS Psychology, I never wanted to take up the course because of the money nor the title "doctor". All I wanted was to help other people who needs help regarding the way they think. I was not aware of a psychologist's salary. And I never knew that psychologists are "in demand" abroad and earn lots, I mean LOTS, of money.
What I'm trying to say is I took up BS Psychology because I WANTED to. Not because my parents wanted me to, my friends and loved ones wanted me to, and not because of the salary and job opportunities. I took up BS Psychology not because I will earn lots of money. I really did not care about my future salary. All I cared about was "how can I help other people who need me?".
And it felt good. It felt good knowing that your intentions in taking up the course you're taking is not because of the salary, job opportunities, or the title. It feels good to know that you WANT to do something that will definitely help other people. It felt good.
I've never felt this good.
I've never felt this motivated.
I can honestly say that choosing to become a psychologist/psychiatrist is one of the best decisions I've made in my life.
I'm doing something that I want and at the same time, I know I can help more people someday.
I guess that's all that matters.
(na-a-absorb ko na talaga ang psych. hahaha! ganito ang napapala ng pagbabasa ng 3 makakapal na books ng psych =])

Psyched up! [post #96]
Sunday, November 2, 2008 / 10:28:00 PM
I must admit that I'm a little nervous because I don't know what to expect but I know I can do this because God will help me. Aja!
So, sembreak is over!
Bitiiiiin!
Hahaha.
Bitin because I was having so much fun bonding with my family and bonding with Dr. House. Yes, Dr. House!!! I love watching House MD! I'm.. addicted.
Hehehe. Just like him. But in a good way.
In the meantime, I have to say goodbye to Dr House.
Hanggang Christmas break
lang naman.
Hahaha. I'll try
na huwag manood ng House MD
habang may classes so that
hindi ako "ma-distract".
You'll read in my previous post the list
ng dapat ko gawin last sembreak. Well,
nagawa ko ba ang mga ito?
- I successfully watched the first 2 seasons of House MD.
- I didn't get to watch They Kiss Again because I was too addicted watching House MD (but I bought a complete DVD copy of TKA).
- Natuto ako ng Psychology. =)
- Nakapag-enroll ako.
- Hindi ko namiss ang pagsisimba. Nakapagsimba pa rin ako sa COP.
- Hindi ko na-update online shop ko. Huhuhu.
- Nakapag Sims2 ako!!!
- Hindi ko natapos basahin AFLH.
- I had quality time with my parents!
- Nakapagshopping ako!
- Nakatulog!
- Nakabili ng 2 black shoes!
- May uniform na ako!!!
Masasabi ko naman that my sembreak was productive.
Hehehe. =)
Hindi ko na pina-reconnect
ang SmartBro
sa province because..
ayoko lang.
Hehehe.
GTG. I have classes tomorrow! =)
God bless me! =D
